Decking Options
At FWM Docks, we spend a tremendous amount of time testing and analyzing decking products. Our select decking options have been tested by the FWM engineers to give you a range of options for the perfect solution on your waterfront. Our decking products come pre-panelized to allow for easy removal and installation. Each decking panel fits right into your dock frame, providing a clean, flush appearance.
ThruFlow Decking
This unique non-slip polymer panel allows water, debris and sunlight to pass through small holes in your walking surface. The 360° non-slip surface not only prevents you and your guests from slips and falls, but also minimizes the damaging effects of waves and wind. Available in cedar or gray.
Genovations Decking
This unique PVC decking product has many unique features that make it a great option for your new dock. One key feature is the I-Beam design that makes this deck board one of the strongest on the market. The I-Beam also creates a channel that runs through the board, creating a cooler walking surface. Available in weathered wood gray and sandstone brown.
Aluminum Decking
Our customized, natural aluminum finish decking is designed with a non-slip surface pattern and a heat sync bottom. The unique design draws heat away from the walking surface and down toward the water, keeping your dock comfortably cool even on the hottest summer days. Also available in gray or brown finish.

We’re Here to Help
Here are the answers to some of the most Frequently Asked Questions about our versatile, durable FWM Dock systems. If you have a question that you don’t see answered here, please contact us.
Q: What tools are required for installation of an FWM Dock?

For a complete list of tools, check out our owners manual. Most installations can be completed with an Allen key, multi-tool, Phillips screwdriver and a 9/16” wrench.

Q: Is the FWM decking slippery when wet?

Another major area of focus on our dock systems is slip resistance. Our aluminum decking has a sanded, powder coated finish that acts as an abrasive when wet or dry. All of our other decking surfaces are made from a poly or PVC-type product. These products become less slippery than when they are dry.

Q: How much bracing do I need for my FWM Dock?

This question is best answered by your dock specialist. Typically, we start to use cross bracing on stationary and rolling docks when the water depth hits 5’ or greater.

Built to Last a Lifetime
Our durable, long-lasting dock systems are designed to provide many, many years of dependable service and enjoyment with minimal maintenance. They are crafted from the highest-quality materials and components, and we proudly stand behind all of our products.

Hugo | South Pond | Sturbridge, MA

This is my first dock — and I’m sure it’s going to be my last. The decking is so comfortable on my feet and awesome. When I’m down by the water I feel like I’m at a resort living outside my means. This is an exceptional dock and the guys at FWM make it so easy to find and configure exactly what you want. I tell all my friends who have waterfront property — don’t think, buy it!
