Our dock systems grew out of FWM’s aluminum fabrication work. We began manufacturing modular aluminum docks in 1997 and now supply standard systems and custom options for waterfronts across the country.

That manufacturing background matters when your project needs more than a product selection. Talk with our team about the frame, layout, decking and fabricated details behind the finished dock.

Questions worth working through.

What shapes a commercial dock estimate?

Dock area and layout, standard or custom fabrication, decking, gangways, railings, anchoring requirements, site access and freight all affect the scope. Share your priorities and budget questions so the proposal can address the right items.

Can we begin before the design is finished?

Yes. Start with the location, intended use and target season. Photos, rough measurements or an existing layout are helpful. Tell us which decisions are still open.

Can standard sections work with custom components?

Many projects begin with modular sections and require a custom detail at the shoreline or connection. The Beach Club & Grill project, for example, combines standard aluminum sections with custom gussets.

What should contractors and public project teams share?

Include the project location, plans or scope documents, intended use, target dates and any identified access, loading or permitting requirements. The proposal should clearly state the included products and responsibilities.

What about seasonal removal and site conditions?

Discuss ice, exposure, water-level changes and seasonal use before selecting a system. Product choice and installation details need to reflect the specific waterfront.
